  • Heck yes we do, the heated and enclosed UTVs keeps dust, mud, water off you in summer and keep you nice and toasty in winter.

  • No. This is a beginner friendly/family friendly sight seeing/ nature tour. No tour offered in this region will, no matter how much adrenaline type language they use.

  • Up high into the Rocky Mountains to see some amazing views and abandoned gold mines/towns. Please look at the pictures on our website, they were all taken on our tours.

  • You should ask your Doctor. It is an off-road tour with bumps. During the Winter, the tour is much smoother while traveling over snow. As far as medical problems, we will sometimes be out of cell coverage in the backcountry away from where any ambulance can get to. If someone had a medical emergency we would have to self rescue (if possible) and depending on the season the hospital could be +30mins away. Please ask your Doctor for decision-making advice.

  • No but….. Is it customary to? Yes. In this industry. Times are hard, we understand. It takes all of us a tremendous amount of work to keep our tour prices low, the lowest in CO. We do pay a living hourly wage to all our guides and everyone that works for us. (Hopefully we start to set trends in the industry.) Our guides have multiple responsibilities besides just your family’s safety. They also act as historians, geologists and professional photographers. Please consider bringing along some extra cash for when our guides really wow you, they always do.

  • Warm clothes, drivers license for drivers. A sweatshirt and a neck gaiter for dust if you like. We have free masks for dust here.

  • Yes, we provide helmets free of charge.

  • Yes. We will show you how to safely and confidently operate your UTV / ATV. If you do not feel comfortable driving our guide will be happy to drive you free of charge. We want to share the beauty of Leadville with as many people as possible.

  • Yes! You drive your machine while you follow our guide to some of the most amazing places! Or our guide can drive you for no extra charge if you would rather just relax and take in the sights in a UTV.

  • It depends, wild animals are shy and would much rather avoid humans. We see eagles, mountains goats, picas, fox and moose sometimes. If we encounter an animal on tour we will give it plenty of space and leave them alone in order to keep them wild, and you from getting hurt.

  • Sure! Our UTVs have a little pick-up truck bed in the rear.

  • Heck yes you do! THANK YOU! Ask us for some free stickers when you get here. We hope to show you all the beauty Leadville has to offer. Thanks for considering us!

More About Our Tours

We give every driver of a machine a personal safety speech and spend time showing you how to operate your equipment safely. Our tours depart right from our office on Main street. We have paved onsite parking for everyone.

While on tour we make several stops so your guide can snap some free pictures of your group. No weight limit is applied if four or less occupants.
